Qubi (“Qubi,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, store, and protect information when you visit our website (including https://qubicash.com), interact with our reward programs, receive promotional offers from us or our partners, or otherwise use our services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with this Policy, you should not use the Service.
1. What this Privacy Policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to:
Visitors to our website and landing pages
Users who claim or redeem rewards, cashback, discounts, or incentives (“Users”)
Merchants, brands, and business partners who onboard into Qubi (“Merchants”)
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites, apps, or services that we do not control, even if we link to them or they link to us. Those third parties have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in three main ways:
You give it to us directly
We collect it automatically
We receive it from partners/third parties
2.1 Information you provide to us
We may collect:
Contact details (name, email address, phone number)
Business details (store name, business address, VAT/registration info, category/vertical)
Marketing preferences (what type of offers you want to receive)
Support requests and communications with us
Wallet/account identifiers if you connect a reward wallet or claim an offer
Any other information you voluntarily send us (for example, when you request onboarding, ask for a demo, or submit feedback)
If you are a Merchant, we may also collect:
Store locations
Campaign budgets and promotional structures
Offer rules and redemption logic
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you access or use the Service, we may automatically collect:
Device information (device type, OS version, browser type, language settings)
Log data (IP address, timestamps, pages viewed, referring/exit pages)
Interaction data (which offers you view, click, save, or attempt to redeem)
Approximate location (city-level or region-level, based on IP or device settings, where allowed)
Event analytics (for example: “User opened the Qubi reward link from Store X at 18:42 Gulf Standard Time”)
We use technologies including cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar tracking tools to collect this information (see Section 7 “Cookies and tracking technologies”).
2.3 Information from partners and third parties
We may receive information about you from:
Merchant partners (e.g. confirmation that you visited, purchased, or redeemed in-store)
Marketing/advertising partners (to measure campaign performance)
Analytics providers (for attribution and anti-fraud)
Payment, loyalty, or wallet providers (for example, to confirm a successful redemption or eligibility)
Public or commercially available sources (for fraud prevention, brand safety, due diligence)
We may combine this information with other information we collect about you.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
3.1 To operate the Service
Show you available rewards, cashback, discounts, and promotions
Track which offers are claimed, redeemed, and where
Match you with relevant in-store campaigns and participation rules
3.2 To communicate with you
Send confirmations, updates, technical notices, security alerts, and support messages
Send marketing or promotional messages about offers, rewards, and partner locations, where permitted by law and by your settings
3.3 To improve and develop the Service
Understand which campaigns perform well and which do not
Improve our targeting, UX design, store discovery, and redemption flow
Train internal models that help prevent abuse, fake redemptions, or coupon leakage
3.4 To protect our platform and partners
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or illegal activity
Enforce our Terms & Conditions
Comply with legal obligations, regulatory requirements, and lawful requests
3.5 For analytics and reporting
Provide Merchants with performance metrics, such as “X people viewed your offer,” “Y visits were generated,” “Z redemptions were successful”
Measure marketing attribution (which ad drove the visit)
Understand engagement by geography, time, and campaign type
We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so. Lawful bases may include: your consent, performance of a contract with you, our legitimate business interests (for example, fraud prevention, platform security, product improvement), or compliance with legal obligations.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data for money.
We may, however, share information in the following situations:
4.1 With Merchants / business partners
If you engage with a specific Merchant’s reward (for example: you claim a cashback offer for Store X), we may share with that Merchant:
That an offer was claimed, used, or attempted
Basic attribution and visit metrics
Aggregated and/or de-identified insights (example: “Most redemptions occurred Friday 6–8pm”)
Unless required to fulfill the offer or prevent fraud, we generally try not to expose direct personal identifiers (like your full name or personal email) to a Merchant unless:
You directly gave it to them yourself, or
You explicitly provided consent.
4.2 With service providers (processors)
We may share information with vendors that help us run the Service, such as:
Cloud hosting and data storage
Analytics and attribution tools (for example, Google Analytics)
Email/SMS delivery platforms
Security, anti-fraud, and verification tools
Customer support systems
These providers only get the minimum data needed to perform work for us and are required to protect it.
4.3 For legal, compliance, and safety
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is reasonably necessary to:
Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request
Protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Qubi, our users, our partners, or the public
Enforce our Terms & Conditions, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, or resolve disputes
4.4 Business transfers
If Qubi is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that deal. We will require the recipient to respect this Privacy Policy or a policy with similar protections.
5. Marketing communications
We may send you marketing messages (email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, in-app messages, etc.) about new offers, partner locations, or reward programs — but:
We will do this only where it is allowed by law, and
You can opt out.

For SMS/WhatsApp: follow the instructions in the message (for example, “STOP”)

Opting out of marketing does not stop us from sending important transactional or security messages (for example, “your reward is expiring,” “unusual activity detected,” or “updates to our Terms”).
6. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and for other legitimate purposes such as:
Resolving disputes
Enforcing agreements
Complying with legal obligations
Security, fraud prevention, analytics, and audit
When personal data is no longer required, we will either delete it, anonymize it, or isolate it from further processing.
Because laws differ by region, retention times can vary. Some financial or transactional data may need to be retained longer for tax, accounting, anti-fraud, or regulatory reasons.

8. International data transfers
Qubi operates in multiple regions. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries other than the one where you live, including the United Arab Emirates, the United States, the European Union, or other jurisdictions.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials, wallet keys, or access codes associated with the Service.
11. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, individuals under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, if higher).

12. Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
Some browsers and extensions offer “Do Not Track” (DNT), “Global Privacy Control” (GPC), or similar signals.
At this time, we may not respond to all such signals in all regions.
We may, however, offer functionally similar opt-out mechanisms described in Section 5 (Marketing communications) and Section 9 (Your rights and choices).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the Service after we post changes means you accept those changes.
